|| ABOUT ME

As a former menswear designer I have always had an equal passion for interiors as I have for fashion. I was able to indulge this love when the luxury fashion brand I worked for asked me to design a range of home furnishings under their label. I feel very privileged to have worked with some of the most luxurious textile companies in Europe and still retain that passion for interiors today!

I started The Paper Mulberry to share the information and inspiration gathered when searching for ideas for my own home.  Each time we move house I start a new search! I hope that this blog may help you too if you are on the hunt for similar styles of interiors, garden landscaping and decorating (not to mention a little fashion and travel thrown in of course)! In the earlier posts you will find vintage French antiques and shabby styling gathered as inspiration for our previous home built in 16th century.  Whereas, in these newer posts, there is a move towards a more contemporary and classic styles as I search for ideas for our newly built home.

With warmest wishes

Hi there,

Do you know where I can find the stainless steel door knocker. I love it! And I absolutely love your house too, you have an amazing talent!

Hi Patty,

Thank you so much for the lovely compliments! If it's the heart door knocker then the closest I've found is from here http://www.willowandstone.co.uk/front-door-furniture/polished-nickel-hoop-door-knocker.php It's a UK shop.

Hope that helps -
Warmest wishes

As a recent Pinterest follower just had to tell you how inspirational I have found your boards.
We are in the process of planning a new build and have created the external appearance of the house from ideas from the Belgian
contemporary architecture. I will follow your boards with interest as I develop room styles and fittings.
My thanks
Liz

Glenda, I have been a follower for years. Just want to take a moment to tell you how much I love your work -- the colors, the fabulous photos. Your About Me says you designed a home furnishing line. Is there a link I can use to see what your designs look like? Would love to see them. Thank you for the incredible work that you post. Colleen

I can't thank you enough Colleen, it's so kind of you! Unfortunately no, I don't have anything online as it was many years ago now. With warmest wishes - Glenda

I found your blog on Pinterest You have a fantastic eye for color. I am currently transforming an Old Victoria Duplex into a single family which I blog about the transformation and how others can obtain the look with DIY projects. I have wanted a French Inspired Decorating Style and your site has amazing inspiration from several designers. I will be stopping by your blog for great color palette ideas as well as inspiration. Thank you!
